Description:
This small skein of soft, bouncy yarn is entirely handspun and uses wool sourced from rescued sheep of various breeds (primarily Cormo and Romney), combined with multicolor wool nepps for texture and color. The yarn is fairly delicate, so a lot of bouncy or stress is likely to shed the colorful bits. Nonetheless, this yarn is fun and colorful, and looks like an ice cream sundae with sprinkles. There is variation in the width of the yarn, and some additional texture and small pieces of vegetal matter due to the fairly unprocessed nature of the wool. This yarn would be great used as art yarn.
Care:
The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.
Packaging:
The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.

Please note the exact texture color will vary from the photos, which are intended to give a sense of general character and color palette. Also, please be aware that due to the nature of handmade goods, the yarns could have slight imperfections.
