Handmade Berry Patch Semi-Gradient Yarn Using 100% Alpaca

Quick facts:

- 100% alpaca.

Description:
This vibrant handspun yarn is incredibly soft to the touch, thanks to the fact it's 100% alpaca. Its colors are bright and saturated and range from blue to purple, pink, and red, forming a loose gradient where some areas synchronize in stripes and some are more varied. Expect a dynamic colorway if you knit it into a fabric. The fiber was hand-dyed by an independent fiber dyer, and I spun it by hand in a smoke-free environment using my Electric Eel Wheel Nano from Dreaming Robots.

Care:
The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:
The length of the skein was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:
The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
