It has a nice medium mustard color with a multicolor tweed. The yarn has great stitch definition and a classic, almost rope-like shape to the yarn. It's really soft to the touch and great to work with. It's a wool blend, which I recycled by hand myself and spun using my Electric Eel Wheel. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away.
