Handmade Dancing Flames Yarn Using 100% Wool

Quick facts:

• Handspun, 2-ply.
• Red, orange, yellow, burgundy colors throughout.
• Approximately aran weight (about 8 WPI) with minimal thick-and-thin variation.
• Uses 100% new wool.

Description:

This fun, energetic wool yarn uses an analogous palette of yellow, orange, and red with dark red for contrast. It's super soft to the touch and has a pillowy texture visually. The wool for this yarn was dyed by an independent yarn dyer, and I then spun it on my Electric Eel Wheel from Dreaming Robots. Enjoy!

Care:

The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:

The length of the yarn was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:
The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
