Handmade Double-Layer Cream Hat Using 100% Reclaimed Yarn

This hat uses sustainable 100% acrylic yarn in a double-layer design to make an incredibly soft and cozy fabric. It uses thrifted yarn, otherwise likely destined for the landfill, so no new materials were used. It is very long and has two layers, so you can rolled it up into a brim when you wear it. It was knit mechanically using a hand-cranked Sentro knitting machine. The piece is sized for an adult with a smaller head (or who likes a snug fit) and is suitable for all genders. Enjoy!

The hat will arrive in 100% compostable packaging. The outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable. Inside the package, the hat itself is ready-to-wear and doesn't require washing. When it's time to clean, machine-wash it in cold water (using any non-bleach detergent) and lay flat to dry.
