Handmade Dusty Forest Sun Beanie Using 100% Upcycled Materials

This beanie has lots of texture and uses all upcycled materials! The piece is a dusty forest green, and has a ribbed brim followed by a band of bumpy seed stitches, then smooth fabric leading into a spiral on the crown. With the textures and colors, it's reminiscent of light filtering through a forest canopy into the darker interior. I made the yarn by hand from upcycled materials (80% wool, 20% polyamide) and knit it by hand in a smoke-free environment. This hat is unisex and sized for an adult. Enjoy!

The hat will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable. When it arrives, the hat is ready-to-wear and doesn't require washing. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.
