Handmade Forest Berry Hat Using Sustainable Materials

This hat has alternating blobs of blue, red, and purple-y brown. It has a ribbed brim and simple smooth top. The look is dark and funky, very forest-y visually. It is 100% acrylic, using vintage yarn from the 1980s. At this point of its lifespan, the yarn is essentially waste and likely to end in a landfill, meaning this hat gives it a new life. It was knit by hand in a smoke-free environment. The hat’s sized for an adult and suitable for all genders. In these photos, the hat is on a mannequin with a head circumference of about 21 inches. There is ample ease for a smaller or larger head, and additional mannequin sizing is available if you'd like more photos.

The hat will arrive in 100% compostable packaging. The outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable. Inside the package, the hat itself is ready-to-wear and doesn't require washing. When it's time to clean, machine-wash it in cold water (using any non-bleach detergent) and lay flat to dry.
