Handmade Seagrass Beret Using 100% Recycled Materials

This hat uses 100% recycled yarns to create a thick and beautiful fabric. It features a beret design, using a recycled variegated blue and green on top in a striking spiral feature. The brim of the hat uses 100% recycled black Merino yarn in a ribbed double brim. We recycled the blue and green yarn on-site by hand ourselves, and purchased the black yarn from a specialty yarn recycling vendor. The blue and green yarn feels like Merino, but given its reclaimed nature, the exact blend is unknown. It was ethically knit by hand in a smoke-free environment.

This piece is absolutely stunning in person and perfect for cold weather. It has an amazing soft texture and gorgeous visual appeal. It is sized for an adult and suitable for all genders. Enjoy!

The hat will arrive in 100% compostable packaging. The outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable. Inside the package, the hat itself is ready-to-wear and doesn't require washing. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.
