Handmade Thick and Fuzzy Chevron Beanie Using 100% Sustainable Upcycled Wool

This is a super warm and cozy handmade beanie with an interesting zig-zag texture. It features a deep ribbed brim for a snug, comfortable fit that covers the ears, while the body of the hat has a unique zig-zag chevron texture. We started with a soft, 100% wool that we upcycled by hand here in the studio. The fiber is a natural, undyed off-white with some lovely tonal variations. After knitting the chevron pattern, we lightly felted the hat, which transforms the fabric into a thick, fuzzy, and incredibly wind-resistant material that feels both substantial and protective.

As always, we designed and knit this hat by hand in our Massachusetts studio. This hat is sized for an adult and is unisex. Enjoy!

The hat will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable. When it arrives, the hat is ready-to-wear and doesn't require washing. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Please note the exact color and precise measurements will vary from the product photos, which are intended to give a sense of scale and color palette. Also, please be aware that due to the nature of handmade goods, the piece could have slight imperfections.
