Handspun Mustard and Multicolor Tweed Yarn Using 100% Upcycled Wool-Blend Fibers

Quick facts:

Description:

This yarn has is a well-defined multi-ply yarn (two plies consisting of a variable number of plies in each, around 2-3 plies). It has a nice medium mustard color with a multicolor tweed. The yarn has great stitch definition and a classic, almost rope-like shape to the yarn. It's really soft to the touch and great to work with. It's a wool blend, which I recycled by hand myself and spun using my Electric Eel Wheel. Enjoy!

Care:

The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:

The length of the yarn was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:

The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
