Handspun Sea Green Worsted/DK Yarn Using 100% Wool

Description:

This handspun yarn is a rich sea green with tonal variations. The yarn is a worsted/DK weight (about 10 WPI). It's soft to the touch, with a great bounce to it. It'll make a great fabric with different greens. I spun this yarn by hand on my Electric Eel Wheel from Dreaming Robots. Enjoy!

Care:

The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:

The length of the skein was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:

The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
