Handspun Vibrant Blended Striped Art Yarn Mini-Skein Using 100% Wool

Description:

This handspun art yarn is a bulky weight, soft to the touch, and features gentle blended stripes of blue, green, purple, yellow, white, and other colors. The colors are saturated and have an oil painting-like effect, because of the blending. The yarn has an awesome bounce to it. I blended the fiber by hand with my drum carder and then spun it by hand on my Electric Eel Wheel from Dreaming Robots. Enjoy!

Care:
The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:

The length of the skein was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:

The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
