Handspun Vibrant Purple, Orange, and Multicolor Yarn Using 100% Wool

Description:

This yarn is a vibrant blend of bright colors - purple, orange, pink, ultramarine, etc. - combined with more muted colors like lavender and pistachio and high-contrast neutrals like white and black. The effect is striking and energetic. It has a great texture - very soft - and uses 100% wool. I blended the wools by hand on my drum carder and then spun it with my Electric Eel Wheel. Enjoy!

Care:

The yarn is ready-to-use. When it's time to clean, hand-wash it in cold water (using a wool conditioner) and lay flat to dry.

Length estimation:

The length of the yarn was estimated by weighing a small length of yarn, finding the centimeter-to-gram ratio, and applying this to the entire weight of the skein. If you'd like a more exact measurement, just let me know! I'd be more than happy to measure the exact length with greater precision.

Packaging:

The yarn will arrive in either a recycled gray mailer or a paper mailer. If it’s in a paper mailer, then the outer packaging (i.e., mailer, label, tape) is entirely recyclable and compostable. If it's in a gray mailer, the outer packaging must be thrown away. In either case, the inner packaging will be entirely compostable.
